Hannah, interculturele projecten V.Z.W.

VOORKENNIS: vanaf 4 maart loopt de tentoonstelling HORTUS CONCLUSUS met brons van Jacques-Victor André en etsen van Els Vos. Meer info over Hortus Conclusus.

Van 28 januari tot 25 februari bent u hartelijk welkom op de tentoonstelling

met grafiek en schilderijen van INEZ CREUWELS
en porselein van LIEF JACOBS

  • Het Hannah-huis ligt aan de fietsroute Leuven-Kortenberg vlak naast de spoorweg in Herent. Bus 4 uit Leuven stopt op 50 m van het Hannah-huis (halte Herent station).

  EXTRA ACTIVITEITEN

  • Familie in de balans: twee avonden over contextuele psychologie met Inia Van Eeckelen (7 en 12 febr.)

  • zondag 11 februari: snertnamiddag met Hollandse erwtensoep en rookworst

  • vrijdag 23 februari (hele dag): Inez Creuwels geeft een workshop acryl schilderen

  • zaterdag 24 februari: Poëtisch Lenteconcert met Herman Van Puyenbroeck aan de cello en Ludo Luts aan de piano.
    Guido Cloet, Mengmettaler en dichter, leest uit eigen werk en ietsje meer. We eindigen met een glas op de lente.
    Om 20 u in het Hannah-huis. Inkom 7 euro, integraal voor DOMO.

  • zondag 25 februari in de namiddag: sluiting.
    Het concert met de groep Hybride is verdaagd tot  in mei.

In het werkjaar 2006-2007 zijn er zes tentoonstellingen in het Hannah-huis. U vindt er alles over in:

Daniël Bragoni, beeldhouwer (zie de Hannah-tentoonstelling DEELZAAM) organiseert in Bernissart (bij Doornik) intensieve cursussen beeldhouwen, zowel voor  kleine groepen als voor individuele personen. Daniël zelf leerde de stiel in Carrara en heeft nu zijn atelier in een gerestaureerde hoeve in Bernissart. Indien gewenst, kan men daar ook logeren. Anita Huybens, die vroeger aan de tentoonstelling Face à Face in het Hannah-huis deelnam, organiseerde onlangs een nieuwe klaprozen actie in de Landcommanderij van Alden-Biesen (bij Bilzen).
Als u niet in Alden-Biesen geraakte: er zijn ook nog enkele klaprozen te koop in het Hannah-huis. Vraag ernaar.

Intussen heeft Anita Huybens ook een stoelenproject op het getouw staan, met de bedoeling geld in te zamelen voor de cirkusschool van Ramallah (Palestina). Meer info op de speciale webpagina.

 The HANNAH foundation

The Hannah foundation is set up Flanders (Belgium) but its basic goal is to provide the framework for collaboration between people from different countries and different cultures. One of its main purposes is to enhance mutual understanding by bringing together, in one exhibition, a Belgian and a "foreign" artist.
The current one, showing works of Inez Creuwels (acryl paintings, www.inezcreuwels.nl) and Lief Jacobs (artistic china) started on January 28 under the name VUUR EN AS (Fire and ashes). It will close on Feb. 25 in the afternoon.

The full programme for the season 2006-2007 is available as a colourful flyer.

The next exhibition, HORTUS CONCLUSUS, showing drawings and etchings by Els Vos (Herent) as well as bronze sculptures by Jacques-Victor André (France) starts on Sunday, March 4. It lasts until March 25. Opening hours as usual (Tuesday 10 AM - 1 PM; Friday, Saturday & Sunday 2 PM - 6 PM). Contact us if you want to come outside these hours.

On September 17, Hannah organised an art trip to Insel Hombroich and the Langenfoundation in Neuss-Germany. Fifty-one people had the occasion to see several art exhibitions scattered over the Insel Hombroich and Raketenstation areas. At the same time it permitted for lots of walking in a semi-wild natural park. In the Langenfoundation we visited the temporary Alex Katz exhibition.

From 8 till 29 October 2006, paintings and drawings of Lisette Cauberg (African themes) and Bogolan textiles were on exhibition in the Hannah-huis, together with ceramics from Josiane Vandercammen.

This exhibition in the Hannah-huis (from 5 till 26 November 2006) had paintings from Paul Van de Meerssche and several objects representing or suggesting silence.

The name Hannah, by the way, means "Johanna" and was chosen in remembrance of Leni's mother.
