U kan nog terecht tot 24 januari 2010 op de tentoonstelling

in het Hannah-huis met schilderijen van Alexey Terenin (Moskou/Praag) en beeldhouwwerk van Anne Cornil (Werchter).

    • HOE BEREIKT U ONS?

  • In het weekend is er een trein uit Leuven om het uur, in de week om het half uur! De trein stopt voor de deur van het Hannah-huis.

  • Komt u met de wagen of te voet: klik hier voor een plannetje of exploreer de omgeving van het Hannah-huis met Google maps

  • Parking: in overvloed beschikbaar naast de Leuvenseweg en Spoorwegstraat. Hier is de parking nu wel zo'n 200 m verplaatst (van het Hannah huis weg) omwille van het nieuw Administratief Centrum (NAC).

  • Het Hannah-huis ligt aan de fietsroute Leuven-Kortenberg vlak naast de spoorlijn in Herent.

  • De bussen 4, 285 en 652 uit Leuven stoppen op 50  m van het Hannah-huis (halte Herent station).

Daniele Bragoni, beeldhouwer (zie de Hannah-tentoonstelling DEELZAAM) organiseert in Bernissart (bij Doornik) intensieve cursussen beeldhouwen, zowel voor  kleine groepen als voor individuele personen. Daniele zelf leerde de stiel in Carrara en heeft nu zijn atelier in een gerestaureerde hoeve in Bernissart. Indien gewenst, kan men daar ook logeren.  The HANNAH foundation

The Hannah foundation is set up Flanders (Belgium) but its basic goal is to provide the framework for collaboration between people from different countries and different cultures. One of its main purposes is to enhance mutual understanding by bringing together, in one exhibition, a Belgian and a "foreign" artist.
The exhibition programme for the season 2009-2010 is available as a colourful flyer.

Below are some details on ongoing or past activities:

Paintings by Alexey Terenin and Sculptures by Anne Cornil were on display during the exhibition

in the Hannah-huis from November 29, 2009 till January3, 2010. Your last chance to visit "DOMUS" is on Sunday January 24, 2010 (or by appointment)
Alexey Terenin was already our guest in the Hannah-house, back in 2007, during the exhibition "Paradise Lost".

Graphical work (etchings and sophisticated lithographies) on oriental themes by Marina Richter (Moscow/Prague) were shown together with earthenware objects of Chinese inspiration by Annelies Slabbynck, a Belgian working and living in Shanghai (China) during the exhibition:

from November 30 to December 28, 2008 (and a few more weekends in January 2009)

Acryl paintings by Karine Gutschoven (B) and glass & bronze castings by Henny Joris (NL) have been on display during the exhibition

From April 6 till May 11, 2008, the Hannah foundation showed paintings by Dirk Boulanger, poetry & letterwork by Luc Vandeborght and glass sculptures by Monika Vosyková (CZ).

From February 17 till March 16, 2008, the Hannah foundation showed ceramics by Dirk d'Hoine and Greet Decoster, as well as paintings and works in mixed-media by Ahmed Shabini.

This exhibition (November 2007) had work from Mirjam Gonzenbach (drawings, mixed-media, poëzie) [Switzerland], Lionel Lefèvre (steel and bronze) [France] & Roland Fonteyne (Sumi-e Japanese drawings)[Belgium]. In the same period Hannah organised a concert with marimba music (KellyHelsen) and an evening about "TAO and art" (Roland Fonteyne).
Local Leuven TV station ROB produced a short video on the exhibition that was shown in their Cultural programme (15 Nov 2007).

The name Hannah, by the way, means "Johanna" and was chosen in remembrance of Leni's mother. It is also an interesting palindrome.
